Carly Narlesky works in the Hydrology and Hydraulics group at MBK where she is a Supervising Engineer specializing in hydrology and reservoir operations. Since starting with MBK in early 2013, she has gained considerable skill with hydrologic analysis and reservoir operations modeling, particularly with the HEC-ResSim software. Carly's notable projects include the Folsom Dam JFP and Yuba-Feather Forecast-Coordinated Operations studies, where she has made significant contributions to multi-agency technical workgroups. She currently co-leads the Yuba-Feather Forecast Informed Reservoir Operations (FIRO) Water Resources Engineering team and advises on the FIRO candidate alternative in the New Bullards Bar Water Control Manual update.
Carly enjoys volunteering at the Girl Scouts Maker Space, where she facilitates science and engineering outreach workshops. She also serves on the Floodplain Management Association Emerging Professionals committee and holds the position of Northern Private Director on the Board of the Floodplain Management Association.
