Nate Hershey is a Principal at MBK Engineers. In 2007, Nate joined MBK as a Supervising Engineer responsible for management of levee rehabilitation projects, internal QA/QC and team member development. Currently, Nate works in the fields of Construction Management, Drainage, Flood Control, Hydrology, Hydraulics, Levee Maintenance, Surveying, Water Resources Planning, and Water Supply.
Nate has worked on numerous projects, including various levee rehabilitation projects located throughout the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. Restoration projects have also been a focus, including a management role in the Dutch Slough Tidal Marsh Restoration Project. Nate has also previously worked on commercial development projects including civil site plans for various clients, including Mimi’s Café and the San Jose Marriott. Nate is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, and the California Land Surveyors Association. Education includes a BS in Civil Engineering, and Minors in Business Administration and Mathematics from California State University, Chico.
