Ortega-Jewell Promoted to Partner at MBK

MBK Engineers is pleased to announce that Nicole Ortega-Jewell has been promoted to Partner at the firm.

Nicole is licensed as a Certified Project Management Professional. She received her degree in Environmental Toxicology & Biochemistry from the University of California, Davis in 1997. In 2006, Nicole received her master’s certificate in project management from George Washington University.

Nicole joined MBK as a Senior Project Manager in 2016 as part of the Flood Management Group. There, she assisted the team with the planning, design, permitting, and implementation of multi-objective flood risk reduction and aquatic restoration projects throughout the California Central Valley. In her new role, Nicole will continue to focus on these areas.
