Mike Kynett is a Principal and Shareholder in the Delta group at MBK Engineers. Mike joined MBK in 2017, and supports the Delta group's Reclamation District clients. Mike utilizes his levee policy, geotechnical, and construction experience to offer cost-effective and practical solutions to MBK clients. Mike's understanding of the Central Valley and Delta systems supports efforts to collaboratively determine opportunities for flood protection and multi-benefit projects.

Prior to joining MBK, Mike worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District, where he served as the Levee Safety Program Manager. Mike's expertise in cutoff wall design, foundation stability, and analysis of levee systems has increased MBK's efficiency in supporting client needs for all aspects of project development and implementation. Mike is a graduate of California State University, Sacramento, where he received his bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
