Lauren Chew and Sophie Danielsen join Dustin Bohn and Lauren Maurer as part of our summer intern group. Both Lauren and Sophie are students in the Engineering Department at UC Davis. Lauren and Sophie have been assisting our Hydrology and Hydraulics group with projects both the field and while remotely working. Lauren is a member of Engineers Without Borders at UC Davis, where she serves on the organization's board. She is majoring in Civil Engineering and has previous internship experiences at consulting companies and significant computer programming experience. Sophie is also an active member of Engineers Without Borders, and previously led a trip to Bolivia to make sanitation improvements. She has also conducted university research in reservoir operations, and is majoring in Civil and Environmental Engineering. We are happy these talented students decided to work at MBK this summer.
