Position Description

MBK Engineers is seeking a motivated individual to join the firm as a water resources technician/drafter. The primary duties of this position consist of:

• Making routine engineering calculations
• Assisting in the design of facilities, including levees, channels, in-stream and floodplain restoration features
• Assisting with preparation of construction documents and exhibits
• Assisting in the preparation of written and verbal presentations
• Preparing reports and memoranda on work
• Assisting with preparation of property descriptions
• Acting as a member of a survey party, and under the direction of a licensed surveyor, perform field surveying tasks.
• Inspecting the maintenance of levees, channels, floodways and control structures

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED plus a minimum of three (3) years of nonprofessional civil engineering experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

The annual salary for this position depends on experience: the range is: $69,951 to $95,927
