Ric Reinhardt is a Principal with MBK Engineers and the Program Manager for several large scale flood damage reduction and ecosystem restoration projects; including the Natomas Levee Improvement Program, the Three Rivers Levee Improvement Program, and the West Sacramento Levee Improvement Program. As Program Manager, Mr. Reinhardt oversees planning, NEPA/CEQA compliance, permitting, design, construction, and real estate acquisition. All of these projects have required permission to alter Federal project levees as required by 33 U.S.C. Section 408. Six separate 408 approvals have been granted for these projects. The 408 Summary Reports for all six projects have been prepared by MBK Engineers under the direction of Mr. Reinhardt.
Prior to joining MBK Engineers, Mr. Reinhardt worked for the US Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District. He served in several different capacities while at the Corps, including lead engineer and senior project planner. Most of his experience is in planning and design of flood damage reduction and ecosystem restoration projects.
