Pete Ghelfi joined MBK Engineers in May as a Senior Engineering Consultant in MBK’s Flood Management group. Previously, Pete served as the both the Director of Engineering at the Sacramento Area Flood Control Agency (SAFCA), and as a Senior Civil Engineer at the Sacramento County Department of Water Resources. During that time, Pete was involved in numerous programs that included drainage development review, master planning, stormwater quality, and the remapping of FEMA floodplains.

In his role as a Senior Engineering Consultant, Pete provides support to MBK Engineers’ work groups in the management of flood control projects and planning efforts for local maintaining agencies.
