Mike Archer is a Supervising Civil Engineer at MBK Engineers with over 30 years of experience in Water Resource Engineering. Mr. Archer supervises and performs hydrologic and hydraulic studies for flood control, floodplain, hydraulic impact, and levee design analysis. Mike is an expert with the HEC-RAS, UNET, FLO-2D, FESWMS, and RMA2 computer modeling programs. Mike is routinely involved in the planning and implementation of water transfers, as well as with the quantification of transferred water.
Mr. Archer’s project include the Development and Quality Control Review of HEC-RAS and FLO-2D hydraulic simulation models for the California Department of Water Resources; review of the USACE HEC-RAS model of the Sacramento River basin for the Sacramento Area Flood Control Agency, and performing hydraulic analyses to determine Design WSE for the West Sacramento Levee Improvement Project.
