MBK assists Conaway Preservation Group (CPG) with many special projects including water transfers, groundwater monitoring, water rights reporting, agricultural water management plans, general annual farm management, and water use efficiency grant applications. MBK has also assisted CPG with assigning a portion of its Sacramento River Settlement Contract water to Woodland-Davis Clean Water Agency (Agency). The Assignment will help the Agency provide drinking water to Yolo County during the dry summer months while limiting the impact to critical groundwater supplies. With around 20,500 acres of land, CPG relies on MBK’s assistance to ensure an efficient and productive use of land while preparing for future water demands and ensuring water use is sustainable.
