Dam Failure Inundation Mapping

Recent California law has required dam owners to prepare dam failure inundation studies and maps showing the effects of the breach of a dam and all its appurtenant structures. More information can be found at this link.

We are working with many clients to meet this obligation. Our services include the development of the technical studies, preparation of the dam failure inundation maps, development of associated Emergency Action Plans, and coordination with the California Division of Safety of Dams (DSOD) and Governor's Office of Emergency Services (CalOES) to make sure all the dam owner's regulatory requirements are being met.
