MBK Engineers has hired two new employees to enhance the capabilities of its Delta group. We are pleased, and very fortunate, that Michael Kynett (Senior Engineer) and Emily Pappalardo (Assistant Engineer) will be coming on board June 19.
Mike will be coming to us from the Corps of Engineers where he is currently the Levee Safety Program Manager at the Sacramento District. He is a Sacramento State graduate and has a tremendous amount of experience in the geotechnical and construction areas.
Emily graduated with a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Cal Poly. Working at DCC Engineering in Walnut Grove when she was still in college and continuing after graduating from Cal Poly, she developed levee experience, which lead to her getting a master’s degree in civil engineering from UC Davis. Growing up in the Delta, she will bring a unique perspective to MBK.
